ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award
The "ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award", was received by the four-year student of the Department of Management Science and Technology Zoe Cotti and Professor Diomidis Spinellis for their work «Standing on Shoulders or Feet? The Usage of the MSR Data Papers», in the framework of the international conference "MSR' 19: 16th International Conference on Mining Software Repositories", held in Montreal on 26 and 27 May 2019.
The award-winning paper, which deals with the analysis of the impact of work publishing data sets for further empirical research, has been distinguished among 47 high-level scientific nominations.
It is worth noting that the "Mining Software Repositories" conference, according to the CORE classification, belongs to class A (excellent conference and highly respected in a discipline area), bringing together the research community every year.
