    Double CDMST Distinction at "Ja Start Up 2019"

    • For the 5th consecutive year, DMST students were distinguished for their innovative digital ideas.
    • The Sign Me Up team won the Innovation Award and the Second Place.
    • 5 groups of DMST students qualified for the final.

    The Innovation Award and Second Place at the 5th Pan-Hellenic Innovation and Entrepreneurship Student Competition "JA Start Up 2019", of the Youth Entrepreneurship Association/Junior Achievement Greece, won the Sign Me Up team, composed of Vgotza George, Dourou Elena, Papapoliti Evdokia and Halkidou Anda, students of the Department of Management Science and Technology (DMST) of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

    The Department of Management Science and Technology has a tradition of awarding prizes in student innovation competitions, and in particular in "JA Start Up", since the foundation of the institution, with continuous distinctions in the top positions since 2015!

    In the final, where 20 teams from 10 Universities competed, five groups of students from the department were selected which attended the Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship course, where they created their innovative digital ideas. The teams were supported by Professor George Doukidis, Dr. Stavros Lounis and the candidate PhD student Stratos Baloutos.
