Objective of the course (expected learning outcomes and competences to be acquired)

To handle and read data in R language, execute basic instructions in R language, to construct and analyze basic functions in R, to R for economic applications.

Prerequisites: None

Course contents: Introduction to the R programming language. Algebraic manipulations. Algebraic formulae. Basic elements of the R language: objects, kinds and types of objects. Programming commands and loops: for, while, repeat. Coding algorithms. Lists. Specialized commands. Plots. Functions. Applications in economics
