Hononary Doctorates

Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) is a State University whose mission is to produce and disseminate knowledge in fields that serve both the national and international economy and society, as well as to mold responsible citizens capable of creating, contributing, participating and leading in the international environment.

Within this framework the Department of Economics confers the title of honorary doctor, doctor honoris causa, upon academics of Greek or foreign origin who have produced outstanding academic work and have contributed significantly to the promotion of science or offered valuable services to the University, the country or humankind.
